J.L. Scott Marine Education Center - a marine research facility of the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, the Center is open to the public and contains dozens of aquaria which trace the location of native marine species by their ecosystems, from fresh water to open gulf. A 300 seat auditorium with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment is available for meetings and is used by the lab to present many interesting lectures and films on marine science and the seafood industry.
Gulf Marine State Park - the State’s only urban waterfront park, nestled in the very tip of the Biloxi peninsula, the park contains fishing piers, pavilions, concessions, a souvenir shop, picnic facilities, and an interpretive center on local waterfront culture. The park’s open air pavilions are available for receptions, fish-fries, reunions and family gatherings.
The Factory Restaurant - a converted seafood cannery which contains a large dining area and bar, an indian artifact museum, and a number of small specialty shops featuring nautical items.
