Waveland parties at annual parade
?	In Waveland, ?twas a day for hauling out the strollers, grabbing the coolers and gathering family members of all ages for the 28th annual parade spon-. sored by the Waveland Civic Association.
The parade had about 60 units, and . the crowd received a generous supply of throws, including cabbages, beads, . candy, plastic cups and even, this ?? year, green bananas.
Merlin ?Shorty? Necaise Jr. was . grand marshal. High school junior Julie Michelle Lagasse was colleen and Nikki Hunnicutt, 11, was the parade?s first Junior Miss Leprechaun.
