She was the widow of the late A. M. Benedict and Dr. Hampden Lewis. , Born in New Orleans, the daughter of the late Ludovic deMontluzin and Reine Helluy of France, she spent tlje greater part' o| her life here. She ireceived her education at St. Joseph ;Academy and her higher education in Paris. She Was prominently social in New Orleans! where she made her :debut. ! 1 ! !
