She was the widow of the late A. M. Benedict and Dr. Hampden Lewis.	,
Born in New Orleans, the daughter of the late Ludovic deMontluzin and Reine Helluy of France, she spent tlje greater part' o| her life here. She ireceived her education at St. Joseph ;Academy and her higher education in Paris. She Was prominently social in New Orleans! where she made her :debut.	! 1 !
! She is surjvived by one brother ij/lr., Rene deMontluzin and several njephews ana nieces, one of whom is jMrs: C. A. Sporl of New Orleans. A sister, Mrs. [jeanne deMontluzin De Lappe and three brothers Ferdinand, Alfred and 'Ipr. . Roger deMontluzin preceded, her to! the grave.
