THE ANNIVERSARY YEAR
BSLLT is starting its 50th anniversary celebration early — with the premiere of "Song of the Rose," an original musical by Jim Ballard, scheduled for November, plans for 1996 include a black-tie formal gala, a Mardi Gras celebration, a cookout, a haunted house, a Christmas celebration and an awards ceremony. And productions --lots of productions: at least one musical, a thriller, a courtroom drama, readers' theatre and, we hope, a children's theatrical production.
