MISS CAZENEUVE HONORED BY HANCOCK BANK
Miss Ruth Cazeneuve, senior Vice-President at t h e Hancock Bank, Bay St. Louis office, was feted by a dinner at "Annies? Restaurant at Henderson?s Point on Wednesday, July 15th, her fiftieth anniversary with Hancock Bank by Mr. Leo W. Seal, Sr., President of the Bank.
The dinner was attended by the Board of Directors and officers of the Hancock Bank along with all the employees of the Bay St. Louis Bank.
Miss Cazeneuve, whose father was Cashier of the Hancock Bank in the early years after, the bank?s founding, began her career at the bank Immediately after graduation fron! St. Joseph Academy in B a y St. Louis in 1909.

It was learned that for the first 125 feet of wharf the cost to the city was approximately $1,700. The major portion of this was $1,300 for barge rental. Two additional workmen, one drawing $2.75 an hour, ,the other $2.00 an hour, were paid ap* proxlmately $332.50.
It thus appears that action by four Aldermen, Armato, Farragut, Hanson and Wood, will save the city considerable money. Aldermen Wlttmann was out of town at the time.
JOHN M. PARKER HONORED BY VFW
. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Parker, Jr. }vere honored guests of the Pass Christian Volunteer Fire Department at a Shrimp Supper Friday night at the Fire Station.
V. F. D. Chief Richard Purch-ner Jr. presented Mr. Parker with an honorary membership card in the V. F. D. for the services that he has given the group.
New fire helmets were displayed at the meeting and will be distributed later.
It was Ladies?" Night arid the wives of the V. F. D. were present.
Jerry Andresen was welcomed as a new member and his wife, Patsy was also extended a welcome.
Hammond McArthur prepared the shrimp.
