Judith Nicaise was sister to Jean Baptiste Nicaise, father of Euphrasine (Mere's mother). Listed as personnel on the French ship, "LfElephant? which left France Aug 10, 1720 for the Iberville Colony were Jean and Jacques Nicaise, their wives and children. Nicaise baptism and marriage records in ICC are among the earliest records there. There is also a baptism of Jean Baptiste, of Christianne Ladiner and of Marie Barbe dated Sept 12, 1724 (P 51A).
Christian Ladner is listed as a passenger on "La Marie" age 20. He is also listed on the "St Louis."
