On March 30th the Executive Board meeting was held in Natchez. The business meeting- being- held at the Home. The Home looked lovely with the pretty furnishings and fresh draperies, and a delicious luncheon was served after the meeting.
At the time for the Group Conferences, the depression was at the very worst stage. Every body felt that lack of funds, and to add to this many towns were under water. So I consulted with the Eoard members and it was decided to postpone them for this year. I hope and trust that conditions will never be the same again, because the Group Conferences are most important and we should have them each year.
