Mrs. Neva M. Moran who now lives in Biloxi but ?comes from good Hancock County stock? is justifiably proud of this log cabin design quilt which has been in her family for over 65 years. Mrs. Moran won the quilt-top, made by her aunt, Mrs. Josephine Moran Martin, in a raffle when she was one-year old. It was not put together as a quilt until 1972 when Mrs. Moran and Kiln residents Mrs. Carl Moran Sr. and Mrs. Arthur Koenenn quilted it on a frame belonging to Mrs. Moran?s mother.
