Fremeaux.... That at the time of the liquidation of both said succsions your petitioners (N.J. Fremeaux and Justin Fremeaux) were both minors and that Justin Duad (?) was their tutor....” They discharged their tutor on Mar. 19, 1849. “Now your petitioners say that their aforesaid tutor who was testamentary executor of their deceased mother had neglected to obtain a judgement from the probate court in order to be put in possession of said property and to be able to transmit to your petitioners. That they are now prevented from selling some of the property ... for want of decree acknowledging their right and title to the properties ... as sole heirs of their said parents.”

■	Book D, p. 301: deed claims Westbrook et al. are all heirs at law of Mary Parish; they filed suit in circuit court “to recover certain pieces of land claimed by their ancestors situated in the county of Hancock, state of MS... being portions of the claim to land confirmed to the said Mary Parish by an act of the U.S. Congress passed May 28, 1830, entitled to an act to confirm certain claims to land in the District of Jackson courthouse... and afterwards patented by Millard Fillmore.. .by a patent signed by Alex McCormick.. .recorded by Joshua Wilson, acting recorder of the general land office, in volume II on pages 298,299,&300 of the record of patents in said general land office in Washington, D.C.” {See attached deed for a list of Mary Parish heirs}.
