She causes. COBURN ?BUD? LADNER 1906-1991 Cobum ?Bud? Ladner, age 85 years old, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1991. He was a pioneer resident of the Bayou Caddy community. He was the only son of Charles Ladner and Alvina LaFontaine, who are deceased. iHe lihaddfiveii sisters, nalln deceased, Fannie LaFrance, Josephine > LaFontaine, Edna Zingarling, Cecilia LaFontaine and Maize Pinson. He married his childhood sweetheart, the former Louise LaFontaine (now deceased), and they had six children, Stanley Ladner (deceased) Ernest Ladner Sr., Earl Ladner, Helen Carter, Bertha Necaise and Lois Ann Evans. He raised all of his children in the Bayou Caddy community. He never moved away. He spent all of his time there. He was a retired carpenter, but he was also an outdoorsman. He raised cattle, hogs, and did a lot of farming, but always had time to help his neighbor. He kept the Bayou Caddy Cemetery clean and in first-class shape during his lifetime. He built many tombs, vaults and dug graves to help his fellow man. Even though they haven?t celebrated Mass at the Bayou Caddy church since the early 1970?s, he always maintained the church and the grounds. He said a community without a church just didn{t have anything to look forward to. He was also survived by 28 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. I am sure, ?Uncle Bud,? as he was most often called, will be remembered by all who knew him for years to come.
