The Board so named a committee comp^ ed of Board President Samuel White, B. W. Wilkinson and B. Sones Sr. to "investigate the accounts and actings of all the Officers of the County having or having had custody of the funds of the County and their disbursements at and up to this time or any point of time in the past they they may think expedient." The committee was charged with reporting the result of their investigation to the Board "at as early a day as practicable."
