EPISODE ONE—IN THE BEGINNING
The dynamic story of Hancock County didn’t begin just 100 years ago. Here the Choctaw Indians pitched their tepees long before the white man came from the old world; and the smoke from many council fires drifted above the Bay of St. Louis. But all this will soon end in a "Trail of Tears”. The French explorers are on their way. The White Man is at hand.
