PETE CHAPMAN — (Lieut. Lenny Archer) A graduate of St. Stanislaus, Pete is presently attending University of Mississippi evening classes at Gulfport. Pete has appeared in two previous plays here, as Shelby Carpenter in “Laura” and David Hoy-lake-Johnston, the romantic male lead in “The Reluctant Debutante.” Pete is very serious in his work on stage and strives to give a role all he can get out of it.
T.TT, KALMBACH — (Mary Franklin) Claims she has no acting experience - stage effort up to the present - singing in a minstrel Show under Caroline Kiefer’s direction - but apparently she doesn’t need it. Lil was born in Chicago and raised in New Orleans where she attended and graduated from McGehee High School. She also attended Lawrence College, Appleton, Wisconsin.
PAUL RAYNAUD — (Bill Franklin) Another recruit for the Little Theatre from the Soft Ball League. Paul was born and raised in New Orleans and has resided in Bay St. Louis for four years. Eixcept for one minstrel show several years ago has no previous stage experience but has the happy faculty of being natural on stage. We look forward to future roles for him.
MARY LOU STERN — (Dorothy Pringle) In real life the wife of John Stern (Harry Archer in tonight’s play) is a native New Orleanian where she attended Tulane University. Now residing in Bay St. Louis. Although this is her first play with the Bay St. Louis Little Theatre, she is no stranger to the footlights As a child she was active in Children’s Theatre Guild and did numerous radio plays with the High School. Drama League. We are certain that you will like her performance and that you will be seeing her again in future Little Theatre presentations.
DIX ASHMAN — (Uncle Ge^r're'i Admits to being a dyed-in-the-wool amateur. His only previous experience was a minor role in a school play many years ago. (He does very well ftor a dyed-in-the-wool amateur). Pix and his family (wife Ann is djoing props for this play) moved to Bay St. Louis from Canada two years ago and all are thoroughly enjoying life in the Sunny South.
CURTIS MATHERNE — (Robert Pringle) A Little Theatre Thespian of parts and setts (Curtis objects to being called ‘veteran performer’) will take any role assigned by the director and do a good job of it. Curtis has appeared in a number of Little Theatre plays including - “Lo and Behold.” “Reclining Figure,” “Three Angels,” “See How They Run” and “Time of The Cuckoo.”
