FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, BAY ST. LOUIS, MS	^
Reab, Dr. and Mrs. Walter Russo, Mr. and Mrs. Camille Schaefer, Richard Schaefer, Miss Kathleen Schaefer, Mrs. A1 Voight, Mrs. Margaret Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Wingo. The following words of the pastor were P r in ted in the bulletin for that Sunday:	"It is indeed a happy moment that
we of the Presbyterian Church in Bay St. Louis should become an organized church. We are grateful to God for this blessing of His upon the work that has made this possible." Following the service, these officers were elected: Elders:	Mr.	Chris Reab, Mr. T. T. Reboul, Dr. W. A. Russo and
Mr. W. P. McCutchon DeaiCons: Mr. Camille Schaefer, Mr. Earl Gates, Mr. H. G. Wingo, and Col. P. S. Finn, Jr.
In May of 1957, Mr. Reboul was elected Clerk of the Session; Mr. Schaefer was elected Chairman of the Board of Deacons; and Mr. Gates became Treasurer. In November, 1957, the first budget was prepared and pledges totaled $2,300. As of December 31, 1958, there were thirty-eight members inscribed on the church register with an average weekly attendance of thirty-five.
Miss Sybil A. Koeniger, Church Historian, wrote:	"Thus,	at	the	end of
eight years, the final steps in organizing the church have been completed. Many steadfast hearts and willing hands have contributed towards the realization of this goal. The same tiny grain of Faith that inspired the Founders of the Mission at the Bay grows ever stronger among the energetic members of the First Presbyterian Church of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi."
On November 1 ,	1959 , Rev. E*. A. Lindsey, became the new ' s tated supply minister
On April 21, 1960, the "Drake Property" on Ulman Avenue was purchased for $20,000. Mrs. Camille G. Schaefer was Church Historian and in describing this property she wrote:	"This	property	is	located	at	one	of	the	highest
sites in Bay St. Louis. Moss-draped oaks, azalea and camellia bushes and a lovely lawn enhance the grounds of our future Sanctuary and Educational building. The graceful old home to be occupied as the Manse, is also
