In 1940 it was , estimated that the total 24-hour average traffic across the brigge was 2545..,Today a bridge of concrete has been started to take the place of the old fire hazard wooden bridge. This new bridge is supposed to be completed in June of 19 53, The cost is to be near 6 to 8 million dollars.
