In conformity with a requisition of the 9th section of the act of Congress, entitled “An act for adjusting(L claims to land, and establishing land offices in the districts east of the island of New Orleans,” I have the hoMTf report lists or registers of all the claims to land which have been filed in this office, with the substance of tbe < dence in support thereof, and such remarks upon the claims as appeared to me to be proper.	41
In consequence of the suggestion in your letter of the 15th of November last, evidence	of claims to	lots	i
