Operations were advertised for bids by the Corps of Engineers last week. Competitive bids are sought for construction of two static stand foundations for testing the Saturn V Apollo Moon Rocket’s first and second stages, an electrical distribution system and an office building for the Corps of Engineers’ area engineer. The Corps is NASA’s agents for land acquisition and construction of the $500 million rocket testing center in Hancock County.
