Letter #1
Dear Son (s?) We all wonder	here,	at the house if	Andrisine	intends to
retire (to go away and leave	what	you	were	doing,	to go into the country
try to have her go away with	Gabriel	. We think that	he will have
a good companion and we wish	them	all	well	and we	wish that	they would all
retire together, we desire it very much. Also, all of us relatives and
Francis also he ask for her everyday and he always ask us if she is going to
come back. He is always the same. Poor girl, If I had been able to avoid
so much trouble as I feel, you would not had left. Lets all pray to God
that He take care of you and that he give you the grace to leave this terrible
country^ and to retire and that he let us know his intentions. In your first
letter you wanted to know	if August was	working	for someone in the house	or	if
she was with her father.	We beg you to	tell us	what has happened to him
and his brother. Is he dead or is he living? The family of Leo Conogues
we beg you to tell us something about them. The family of Leo Nogues ask us to
send their best.to his son Leo if he is still alive they ask him to write them
a letter because they are greatly saddened^not have any news from them. We
would also like to know those who had died from the commune. We ??'.ope that you i \ > i 1 \
