Two weeks ago restaura-eurs Tony and Jim Moran surmised their maitre d? Patrick ..ePetit by telling him they vere giving him a trip to his lative Paris.
That trip ended in tragedy "uesday when the Eastern jet arrying LePetit crashed out-ide New York City. His body /ill be flown to Paris Friday, ccompanied by his New Or-eans wife Cathy, who had riven her husband to the air-ort Tuesday, and his parents ho flew from Paris to New ork to identify their son.
Tony Moran paused Thurs-ay to recall the happy mo-lent when he informed his nploye and friend of the trip. Just after I told him, the tone rang," he remembered, ?at was so excited he drop-?d the phone.?
