MRS. ARSAINE PARKER OF TALISHEEK DIES
Mrs. Arsaine Davenport Parker, 80, a resident of Route 1, Talisheek, died this morning at 10:40 in the Washington-St. Tammany Hospital after an extended illness.
Survivors include two sons, Reusaw and Harry from Baton Rouge; five daughters Mrs. Eva Stiles of Talisheek, Mrs. Ed. Fogg and Mrs. Shilby McKean, both of Slidell, Mrs. Mary Ida Ferguson of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Virgil Eldridge of Lumberton, Miss.; 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Remains will lie in state at the family residence until 3 p.m. tomorrow when services will be conducted from the Talisheek Baptist Church with the Rev. Brister Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Magee Cemetery, located below Talisheek.
