members. Unfortunately the record of this meeting was lost so no actual record exists of the names of the original members. Reverend Mathis was succeeded by J. G. Sibley as Pastor.
For two years, 1900?1902, there were no church meetings held. The building was rented by the Episcopal Congregation. On November 2, 1902, a meeting was held at the Bay St. Louis Church which was attended by those in the community who were favorable to the reorganization of the church, as the former organization had been practically abandoned. The meeting was addressed by Reverend J. D. Searcy of Biloxi, and at the conclusion of his sermon it was resolved "to reorganize and go forward." It was also voted for the Mississippi Baptist Convention to insure the church property.
The Church was reorganized at a meeting on November 27, 1902. Six persons entered into a covenant as follows: Brother W. H. Holden, W. W. Stockstill, Reverend C. L. Corwin, Mrs. W. T. McDonald, Mrs. W. M. Graham, and Mrs. H. L. Pledger. On motion, Mrs. W. T. McDonald was elected Secretary-Treasurer and was authorized to procure a book for the church. Reverend C. L. Corwin was elected pastor at a yearly salary of $75 for two sermons a month. Six people made pledges to support the pastor. (Within these old minutes were found some interesting bills dated April 12, 1902 (73 window glasses at 80, 15 window glasses at 150, a freight bill for the L&N Railroad for 450, and cutting in lights $11.48.) The organ for the church was purchased from L. Grunewald Company Ltd. of New Orleans by J. A. Breath, salesman.
Reverend C. L. Corwin left the church in 1904. From 1904-1913, services were very irregular. Several Mission Pastors served the church with several breaks in the services. From 1904 to 1906 M. E. Hulbert from Escatawpa and W. C. Grace served the church. Reverend J. L. Finlay from McHenry served from 1906 to 1909. Reverend Webb Brame served one year in 1909. From 1910 to 1912 Reverend D. L. Mitchell was part time pastor.
On April 20, 1905, a meeting was called by Mr. W. W. Stockstill. Reverend W. C. Grace of Gulfport was Chairman. The following resolution was voted on:	?Resolved	by Baptist Church of Bay St. Louis in conference
