Church voted in 1962 to again have two circles, one to be known as the "Morning Circle," the other as the "Afternoon Circle." The former was formed particularly to offer an opportunity for mothers with children in school to attend a circle meeting without having to neglect their children. It was ?greed that a baby sitter would be provided to take care of pre-school children, the Women of the Church to bear this expense.
Also in 1962, the following baptisms were recorded:	Laurie Gretchen Anderson, Joseph Dale
Simpkins, Patricia Ellen and Julia Jeane Payne, and Warren LeRoy and Donna Kay Sick, twins. Seceived into the church on profession of faith were Laurie Gretchen Anderson, Kit Campbell, Chris Soettge, Sallie Jo Scharf, Dr. Dwight A. Payne and daughter Katherine Grace, and Kenneth T. Teague, Jr. Received into the church by letter or certificate were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson and their daughter Christine Eager, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Calvin, Mrs. George Campbell and son John, Mrs. Edward Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. C. Max Dossett, Mr. and Mrs. G.P. Fillingame, Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Gallassero, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hammond and son John, Mrs. Nellie Hadley, Miss Camille Lamphier, Mr. and Mrs. John Landon, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Phillips, Mrs. Dwight A. Payne, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Scharf, Mr. David W. Smallwood, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth T. Teague and daughter Colleen, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Scotty) Thomson. The latter, Scotty and Doris, would be the 107th and 108th persons to join the church from its beginning. Max and Faye Dossett had been the 75th and 76th, while the Cooks were the 79th and 80th.
The Sunday school also showed a healthy growth. In summer, when vacationers and summer residents were there, the attendance had always risen. Now, however, the Sunday school had a steady attendance.	There were eight in
Kindergarten, 11 in the Primary Grades, seven Juniors, five Young People, and there were 11 in the Men's Class and seven in the Women's.
Furthermore, the choir of the church, under the direction of Mrs. Robert M. Teague, was doing outstanding work. Sopranos were Mrs. Christal
