The Chamber sponsors annual community events and activities. Among these are the Blessing of the Fishing Fleet, Community Bargain Days and the ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service.
The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States and the Mississippi Economic Council (State Chamber of Commerce). Recently the U. S. Secretary of Commerce designated this Chamber as an Associate office of the U. S. Department of Commerce in recognition of its wide spread and effective programs in South Mississippi.
