As the Church Historian for this year, Mrs. S.K. Kepner, put it in her unpublished history of the church:	"In spite of much illness in her
family, Mrs. Teague has been ever faithful in her work as director and organist. The results of her work have been most gratifying and the choir has established an enviable reputation in the community. None of this choir is a paid member but all of them take time out from a very busy life to serve in the choir, and they sing because they have it in their hearts to sing. When Mrs. Teague was unable to be present, Mrs. E.A. Lindsey, wife of the pastor, was an able substitute and the church is indebted to her for her many talents."
Mrs. Kepner also noted that "Before the Christmas festivities began, the choir secured new robes. Some of these robes were paid for by the choir members, and all of the robes were made by choir members or other members of the congregation.
"Under the direction of Mrs. Teague and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kenneth T. Teague, assisted by members of the children, a carol choir was organized. This choir was composed of the older children but they also organized a choir of the smaller children called 'The Little Angels' choir. These choirs sang for the Christmas services and sang carols at the home for the aged and the patients at the hospital. Their songs and bright faces brought joy to many."
The year came to an end with the church cooperating in a city-wide movement to bring the Reverend Lane Adams, pastor of the Key Biscayne Church in Miami, Florida to Bay St. Louis for a community Protestant inspirational series of services. A series of cottage prayers was scheduled before the week of services began, and it was hoped that these services would be a source of renewed spirit and effort among the Protestants of the community. Including this church.
