THE "SMART SET" DRAMATIC COMPANY Biloxi, Miss., Aug. 2, 1901:—
The "Smart Set" Dramatic Company reached Biloxi in good shape and snirits, and are looking forward to their initial appearance tonight (Aug. 2, 1901) with as much eager expectancy as are those who are anxious to see their entertainment.
At this writing there is every indication that one of the largest and most fashionable audiences ever assembled in Dukate's Theatre vill be present. The advance sale of seats has teen unprecedentedly large, and nearly every New Orleans summer visitor will be present.
The members of the Dixie Stock Company, vhich has teen occupying the Threatre all summer, will occupy the ing boxes on the right and left in full evening dress, and altogether the assemblage tonight promises to be a most brilliant one.
Ouite a number of seats have also been sold for tomorrow night’s
performance.
