Lenten and Easter	services, as	well as	the|
Christmas Pageant held the Sunday before Christmas, the	latter under	the direction of	Mrs. Harold	Cook
and	Mrs. Kenneth	Teague.
On June 2nd,	a congregational	meeting was	held
for	the purpose of electing additional elders	and
deacons. After ordination and installation on Julyj 14th, the officers of the church were Moderator: the Reverend Dr. Edward A. Lindsey; Elders: Theo T. (Ted) Reboul, Jr., W.P. McCutchon, W.C. Russo, S.K. Kepner, Carl Anderson, Edward Calvin, Max Dossett, Fred Phillips, Harry Scharf, and Scotty Thomson; Deacons:	Mac Canaga, Ronald Goettge, Kirkland
Rheams, Kenneth Teague, and Harold Cook. The Clerk of Session was Ted Reboul; Chairman of the Diaconate:	Kenneth	Teague; and	Treasurer:	Mac
Canaga. Incidently, Mac had been the 114th person to join the church, his wife the 115th.
At the beginning of the calendar year, there had been 84 members on the church's rolls Received into the church during the year were, on profession of faith, seven; by certificate, 24; a total of 31. Losses were two by death, five transferred to inactive, and four were dismissed to other churches, a total of 11. Net for the year was 104, a net gain	of 20 members.
Those received	into the church	by profession
of faith were Rolland Armstrong, Duane Armstrong, Nathan Goettge, Thomas J. Landon, Laura Muehl and Timothy O'Neal Craig. Received by letter and statement were Mr. and Mrs. John Landon, Mr. and Mrs. Erick Muehl, Mrs. Rolland Armstrong, Mrs, Ethel Wandel, Mr. and Mrs. Mac Canaga, Mr. and Mrs, John Hill (the 128th and 129th members), Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Shearer, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Russell, Dr. and Mrs. Wm. D. Atchison, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Dees, Miss Susan Irene Dees, Miss Mary Jane Dees, Ed and Ingrid Ling (the 136th and 137th, respectively), Mr. and Mrs. Robert Everly, and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Miller. A number of these persons were associated with the nation's space program.
One who wasn't but who was here because of the space program was the avuncular Max Dossett. He and his gracious wife Faye had a very nice "fishing camp" in what became NASA's Buffer Zone (no homes thereafter would be permitted there), and Max and
