ingos; the antique desk and Spanish bookcase and a map which is indeed a collector's item. It is handmade and hand painted and dates back to 1675. It shows the entire Gulf area when this land and water were owned by Spain.
The modern is blended well with the antigue in this room, as here sits the television set, but it is topped with a pirate vessel, which Mrs. Lister bcrughf froiT? a gypsy.
! The music room is papered in a i pattern showing roses in full bloom. In all of the bedrooms, too, roses in various stages of their growth are displayed in the wallpaper.	j
In the music room there is another"; fine fireplace over which hangs a mas- j sive antique gold mirror. There is a j spinet and an antique Regina music box which plays copper records. Blue velvet portiere* are at the windows and matching vases in blue glas^ with lver flamingos are companion pieces
o	the pair in the library.
What one notices most, however, is the illuminated picture of Christ in three dimension which hangs opposite the mantle. The whole room gives one a feeling of relaxation and ease, a sanctuary from the cares of the outside world.
Going from the living room through an opening of intricately scrolled grill-
•	work, one finds a small iron pirate I chest which was brought from the I Scoville Castle in Scotland. After open-| ing its enormous side locks and turning a heavy key, the chest opens. Mr. Lister has indeed saved his pennies, for here rest hundreds of “coppers.” Visitors to the “Pirate House” will pause for a moment as they enter the massive dining room, for here the ^beauty of mellowed antique furnish-; ing^s. the glittering crystal chandelier, silver and other adornments take one’s breath away. The banquet table, six side chairs, two host chairs, and serving pieces are hand carved oak.
The table has great claw legs which rise upward to form the head of a woman. She it helmeted and from her back are carved wings. According to Mrs. Lister, the carvings are repre sentative of Greek mythology. The sideboard has carvings of Neptune’a
