On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina turned our lives upside down. Our home was flooded with eight feet of water and was heavily damaged. We managed to rebuild it and sold it in October 2008. After the hurricane, we decided to move to a higher elevation, so we bought a lot in Diamondhead, MS in December 2005 and began building our new home. We moved into our new home at the end of October 2008. The past five years have been a challenge for us, as well as the many people who also had their homes flooded and destroyed by Katrina. The past five years also brought into our lives three beautiful grandchildren that we love so very much. Whatever the future has in store for us, we can thankfully say that we have had a great life with many blessings. Jerry and I are both retired, and we plan to do a lot of traveling. I am 5'5" tall, 132 pounds, with dark-brown hair, and brown eyes. Jerry says that I have been the best wife and mother a person could ask for. Further information on Jerry is found in the Heitzmann Family History. Although Stan and Dorothy's marriage ended in divorce, Dorothy usually had more good, rather than bad, to say about him. She told us how good he was to little Stanley and Debbie before they broke up. No one seems to know exactly why they separated. Debbie still remains in close contact with her father. Stan's character and personality can be described as very friendly and out-going. He seems to make friends where ever he goes. His favorite past time is fishing. He always has a nice fishing boat to get him around and is always keeping us informed as to what is biting in Florida. Stanley was 5?8" tall, weighing 170 pounds in his prime, with brown eyes and black hair. He claims no religious affiliation although he believes in God. He was regarded as a good family man by his second wife, as well as, his first wife, Dorothy Bourgeois. Four other children were born to Stanley Ezra Weidman and Margaret Loretta Seeley. They were: I. Maude Margaret "Peggy" Weidman - born on February 2, 1921. She lived at 327^ Chattman St., Pensacola, FL and died on December 22, 2010. She was cremated and her ashes poured into the river at Glens Falls, NY. She was first married to Glenn Lindsey and divorced him. She then married a physician called George E. "Dick" Richardson who died. She is currently married to Tracy B. Croffutt, Jr. She has been living in Pensacola since 1973. By her first husband, she had two children who were later adopted by her second husband and legally changed their names to Richardson. Peggy had no children by her 2nd and 3rd marriages. Children are: A. Glenda Margaret (Lindsey) Richardson - born on March 11, 1943 and resides in Pensacola, FL. She was married to Keith English (divorced) and is single at present. Glenda worked in 5
