IB2d. Ray Homer Carter b. Aug. 29, 1894, d. 1963, md. Lila Smith on Mar. 2, 1902. She was the widow of Charlie Smith. They lived in Beaumont, Texas, and had a son:
(1) Thomas Ray Carter b. Feb. 6, 1927, killed in a car wreck on Sept. 15, 1959.
IC. William	Porter Richardson b. Aug. 4, 1824,	d. Sept.	11, 1875, md. on
Dec. 7,	1848, to Nancy	Lampton b. Dec. 17,	1826, d.	Mar.	8, 1907. They
were the parents of 12 children.
Bill Richardson was a soldier in	the War with Mexico. On May	13,	1846,
he enlisted in Captain John G. Staples's Company of the 4th Regiment Louisiana Militia. This unit was called the David Regiment and later became Company G. He received his discharge from the army on Aug. 8, 1846.
Shortly	after the war,	Bill became a Mason	in Lodge	101,	Franklinton,
La. In	1855 he served	the Lodge as Senior	Deacon.	Upon	his death he	was
carried to the old Richardson place for burial. The following was supplied by Daunton Gibbs, a noted Masonic Historian	of Franklinton:
Lodge 101, Franklinton, La., met	in special	called meeting in	the	Lodge
Hall on Sunday, September 12, 1875, for the purpose of performing Masonic Burial Services over the body of Bro. William Porter Richardson, who died on Saturday, September 11, 1875.
The Lodge formed at the Lodge Hall and moved in procession to the residence of Brother Richardson and from there conveyed the body to the grave where burial services were conducted by the Lodge with Brother John W. Wadsworth in charge.
After the services, the Lodge again formed in procession and moved back to the Lodge Hall where the Lodge was closed, after clothing the Lodge Hall in mourning which was to be observed for a period of thirty days.

on Apr. 13, 1881, to Lena Leota Burch, b. July 23, 1864, d. Jan. 28, 1952. The following is a life sketch of Stephen P. supplied by Daunton Gibbs of Franklinton:
Stephen Pinkney Richardson was born December 24, 1849, on what is now known as the Nelson Corkern place on the Enon highway. He was the son of William Porter Richardson, a mason in the Franklinton Lodge.
Stephen P. Richardson married Lena Leota Burch, daughter of John R. Burch, also a Mason in the Franklinton Lodge, and settled in the heart of the Fisher Community where he became a leader and a well-known citizen of Washington Parish.
