The Hancock County Board of Supervisors, at its regular meeting Tuesday morning, voted to endorse the proposed expansion and repair of the American Legion riprap pier at Washington Avenue. American Legion representative Joseph Benvenutti of Bay St. Louis requested the supervisor?s endorsement at the 9 a.m. meeting. ?We want to repair pier damage from recent storms,? Benvenutti added. The endorsement preceeded a Wednesday night Bureau of Marine Resources hearing on permits requested .by the Legion post for the expansion. Lakes subdivision. However, Board President A.A.
