No	local history could	be	complete without a	weather and
health	report.	According	to one historian Harrison County
was acclaimed "the healthiest county in the united States".
Weather usually mild has had unusual seasons such as cold weather records for Harrison County in March 5, 1885 with sleet and snow storms, and again March 18, 1892 with sleet and snow doing great damage to vegetation. And hear this report for 1930:
Feb. 12,	1930 -	10	degrees with sleet	and snow at 9:00 a.m.
Feb. 13	4	degrees above zero	at 7:30 a.m.
Feb. 14 Snow
Feb. 15 — 39 degrees - heavy rain, east gale and fog.
I have enjoyed the pleasure of being your guest and invite you to visit our City-County Public Library in Bay St. Louis where you will find a modest section on Mississippi — it's history, it's poets and novelists — its maps and pictures. Come on down — you'll love it and you'll be welcomed cordially.
