Barthe mural
Artist Joseph Pearson of Pass Christian is putting the finishing touches on the mural he?s painted honoring the late sculptor/artist Richond Barthe of Bay St. Louis. It faces Second Street and is on the outside wall of the office of Hancock County?s Tax Assessor. The mural is the third in a series in the Old Towne area sponsored by The Renaissance Project, designed to preserve and resurrect a community?s awareness of its roots. (Echo staff photo by Ed Lepoma)
