family bible. His father had moved there for a year or so for work. After Ocean Springs, he moved to Bay St. Louis, MS with his parents. He married Jimmie Noble in Bay St. Louis on July 31, 1912 based on their marriage license in the Hancock Co. MS Court House. The family bible shows they married on July 24, 1912 while they celebrated their wedding anniversary on July 30, 1912. After their marriage, they lived for a while in Galveston, TX and finally around 1922 moved to Bakersfield, C A where he died there on May 8, 1979.
In Bakersfield, he owned and operated the Snow Flake Bakery for many years. He later became a Kern County Deputy Sheriff and served in that capacity for twenty-one years.
They had:
A.	James Edward Heitzmann - born on July 7, 1913 in Bay St. Louis, MS and died there on April 18, 1915. He is buried in a small tomb in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis with the dates on it. He is buried next to his Aunt, Lelia Heitzmann Crawford.
B.	Imelda Armanda ?Mel? Heitzmann - born on May 23, 1915 in Bay St. Louis, MS. She moved to Bakersfield around 1922 with her parents and on June 11, 1939, she married Henry E. Kroeker in that city. She died on September 13, 2000 in Bakersfield and is buried in Green Lawn Memorial Park in that city. They had one child:
1.	Melinda Jane Kroeker - born June 13, 1948 in Bakersfield. She married Steven Faulk on December 19, 1970 in San Jose, CAand they divorced in 1984. They had no children. She currently lives in Nepoma, CA and is a school teacher.
C.	Virginia Camille Heitzmann - bom on April 12, 1918 and died in Bay St. Louis, on January 29, 1919. She is buried in a tomb in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis near her Aunt, Lelia Heitzmann Crawford.
D.	Alvin Heitzmann, Jr. - born on January 17, 1920 in Pascagoula, MS as listed in his parent's family bible. He died on May 24, 1966 when his mustang convertible ran off the road and flipped over. He is buried in Green Lawn Cemetery in Bakersfield. He
