Eight:	I	give	and bequeath to my daughter Delphine Garandy, the lot of
land in said oity of Shieldsborough and the improvements thereon lying on the south side of "Washington Streets known as the Mazilly property together with the appurtenances &c. Valued at .^400.00. Also the following slaves towit: The negro woman Polite, valued at ^500.00. The negro man C Charles $1200.00. Negro man Lestin $1400.00. Also Garandy's indebtedness to me maounting anthe 11th. of December 1859 to $3564*00. Also one half of the Jourdon stock of cattle valued at $3.00,per head. The said Madeline
S.	Saucier has to her co-heirs for the interest on the sum of $1773.00, at 6 per cent per annum from the 1st. of August 1860. And the said Delphine Garandy has to account to he co-heirs for the interest on the sum of $3504*00 from the 11th of Deoemberl859, at 6 per cent per annum.
The foregoing specified real and personal property composes the part of my estate in the State of Mississippi which being by me devised bequeathed and distributed as aforesaid among my several children	it	is	my desire	and
most solemn request that after my death they receive from	my	executors	herein-
after named the share or portion as desired by me to each of them respectively peaceably and without contestations or any difficulties whatsoever among themselves. But being desirous that each of my said children should after my death receive and equal share, or^portion of my estate, it is my will and I positively require, that all the property thus by me devised and bequeathed to eaoh of them respectively be received by each of them, and taken at the valuation by me set upon the same , and that all the shares be made equal in value by me executors paying out of the funds hereinafter specified to those who have received shares of le ss value than the highest share,such amount in money as will make all the shares equal in value to the highest share.
There femains undisposed of the following property belonging to my estate towit: A steam saw mill situate near the~mou!C5rof Wolf River~ in the"Uounty of Harrison (jUlss. Lwhich I value at $5000*00, also a considerable quantity of wild lands along the waters of said Wolf River in both the counties of Hancock and Harrison which I value at $3000.00, a large quantity of saw logs which I value at $4000.00; and a schooner named the "Montebello" which I value at $4000.00, all of which it is my will that my executors proceed to sell.either at private sale or at auction on credit or for cabh,as they may desire and judge the most advantageous as soon as conveniently they can, without the intervention of the Court of Probates, or any order of sale for the same; my executors reporting to said coirt their proceedings in such sale or sales. Or if any of my said heirs are desirous to take said property or any part thereof, at the valuation by me set thereon they may do so, by reimbursing to my executors, the value set upon said property out of any part of their share as co-helrs thereto.
There also remain undisposed of, a lot of land situate in the City of New Orleans near the "Ole Basin"; end also another lot and houses in Chartres strert in said City. It is ray will that my said executors sell as soon as convenient the lot of land near the "Old Basin"; either at private sale, or at auction, on credit or for cafeh as they may deem the most advantageous. And as the lot of land in Chartres Street has been herein set apart for the maintain? ance of my beloved wife during her life; it is my will that it remains as a
part of my estate undisposed of untill hera demise, and after her death
