He married Catherine Barbara Bader on March 22, 1746 at Schoharie Reformed Church in Schoharie, NY. He died in Gallupville, Schoharie Co., NY. He had nine children by Bader.
George Zimmer was the father of Jacob "John" Zimmer and husband of Maria Elisabeth Kraus. George Zimmer was born about 1697 at Kumchen, Germany. George married Maria Elisabeth Kraus and had at least ten children who were born in Schoharie Co. (then Albany Co.), NY. and probably died in that same town.
Maria Elisabeth Kraus, wife of George Zimmer, was born around 1702 to Hans Jacob Kraus (Jr.) and Anna Maria Hilgert. She died in Schoharie, NY.
