Alice:	And anything she did	was right, but then the other	thing
that's funny,	I remember,	when I	kissed her goodbye when	I was
leaving and she was ninty years old, being surprised about how soft her brown	cheek was. I	didn't	know that a black-faced	cheek
was as soft as	a white-faced	cheek.	And it was Just lovely.	I was
very happy over that, but Marie was a wonderful person.
Mamoo:	Oh	she	was	marvelous.
Alice:	Her name was Marie LeCorque.
Mamoo:	And she had her own bedroom up on the third floor of 1907
Esplanade where we lived.
She would come in on Saturday mornings and wake you up and dress you? Tell me what would happen after you were dressed?
Alice:	No	she didn't.
Mamoo: She DID have her room there at 1907, Alice.
Alice:	It wan on the back qallery where she had a room for. . .
Mamoo:	But she had a room, Alice, up in Audubon Place too, I
think. She did.
Alice:	Well,	we	disagree.
Mamoo:	Well, anyway it doesn't make that much difference as a
matter of fact, but she was...
Alice:	It does make a difference that if you are...
Mamoo:	1907	Esplanade	was	a very nice simple frame house and we
had about one, two, three, four bedrooms and one bathroom.
Alice:	Two	bathrooms.
Mamoo: One bathroom, two bathrooms. Alice:	Mama and Papa had their own.
Mamoo:	Had	their	own	and	we	had ours but there was no toilet in
it remember?
Alice: We had to go out on the back gallery.
