The songs written in this book are my own composition. Through the years, from 1917 to 1953 the inspiration to compose the lyrics and melody of these songs came at intervals sometime a year would go by before I would compose a song, and then I would compose any number of songs in a few weeks or even days. I have wished very often that someday, someone would hear one of these songs and maybe, this song would become popular-who knows-this could happen.	'	r
I	have had lots of fun with my song composing hobby. I will soon reach my sixty fifth milestone, so its been a long time from twenty-six to sixty-five-guess as long as I live I will write a song-"Thank God for this." "With A Song in My Heart"
