Second: I Give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary S. Adele Casanova the lot and houses in the City of Shieldsborough lying north of Union Street, and adjoining the property of Francis G. Casanova, valued at $3000.00. The land I own in said city lying between the property of the heirs of George Carrico and that formerly claimed by S. Broadwell valued at $1000.00. Also the following slaves, to wit: The negro man Hampton at $1000.00. The negro woman Anna valued at $600.00 and her Five children valued at $2500.00. Also all my share of the Bayard Stock of cattle valued at $8.00 per head.
Third: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Louisa Azelia Walker: the undivided one half of the steam saw mill at Bayou Galere valued at $2500.00. The part remaining unsold of the Guedon Toulme land claim, and the undivided half belonging to me of all the lands purchased for said mill valued at $400.00. The half of the following negroes owned by me towit: of Charles, valued at $500.00 ,of Bob valued at $500.00, Schumach valued at $700.00, Howard valued at $700.00. Also the following slaves towit: The negro man Paul valued at $1500.00. The negro man Louis valued at $1500.00. The negro man Rolion valued at $1400.00.
Fourth: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Victoire Saucier, the Two lots in said city of Shieldsborough, and the improvenents thereon lying and adjoining to the south side of Union Street ,now occupied by Mrs. Stockton?s Hotel, valued at $8000.00. Also the negro man Claude, valuded at $1800.00.
Fifth: I give and bequeath unto my son John V. Toulme, all the lands remaining unsold lying on the North side of and adjoining to "Main Street" reserving therefrom however, the lot known as, the "Lodge Lot", but including the market house at the foot of Main Street valued at $1000.00. Also a part of the Pasture at Point Clear belonging to me valued at $200.00. The negro man named Francois valued at $1000.00. His indebtedness to me amounting on the 1 st. of August 1860, to the sum of $2900.00. The whole of the stock of cattle known as my own stock valued at $8.00 per head. The said John V.
Toulme is to account to his co-heirs for the interest on the sum of $2900.00 at 6 per cent pre ann. from the 1st. of August 1860.
Sixth: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Virginia Girard, tha two lots of land in the said City of Shieldsborough and the improvements thereon lying on the South side and adjoining to "Main Street" together with the land remaining unsold along the south side of Main Street in the rear of said two lots of land,valued at $5000.00. Also the lot of land in said city lying on the bank near the Louisiana Wharf with the improvements thereon known as the Mississippi Exchange valued at $800.00. Also the following slaves towit: The negro boy Alfred $800.00, the negro man Ben $1400.00. The negro woman Lucy $800.00. Also one half of the Gordon Stock of cattle valued at $800.00 per head.
