LIFE'S MIRAGE It lies there yet in sunken glen, its captor since the Ark, Uolded firm by God alone, erupts with promised spark. Blending rays of brightest hope in one unyielding cast, Golden, from each side to side, treasures life; garners all the past. From its pouted lip can spill, and does in misty skies A wondrous band, the color spcctrum, joining man in God’s own eyes. Anchored, yes, the other end, the brother on mountain high, Beyond the reach of mortal man—'but, how high can the eagle fly? Kow far to search? Kow deep to probe? ’/here its clandestine birth? Is it here for all to see? To give the entire earth? The multi-colored temple stands as firm as life itself, Garbs the world in awesome splendor; sits high on royal shelf. Call your hunter from the hills and keep him by your side, Let him stay and graze his mount; ccase that never-ending ride. For man has known and will find out over and over again, Around him lies that pot of gold since earth and time began.
