Christian, which with her natural cheerful disposition makes her very sweet. she is a perfect treasure, the most self sacrificing, kind affectionate little thing I ever saw. she is her own dear little self christianized. I fear he was worried by my many wants imposed upon him he has not written to me for an age. he cannot imagine the plea[sure] his letters have always afforded me or he would have gratified me oftener. Did you recieve mine inclosing one from my dear Andrew? I have recieved one since then he writes very cheerfully and was well. Tell Sazy, Annie & Andrew not to forget me.	I hope to see	them as early	in the fall as	I
can leave. I will	have to wait	upon Martha & Sarah. their
movements will	have to regulate mine.	I long	to see you all,	to
have one sweet	kiss from each again.	Oh! how	long the time
appears since I parted from you, since I looked back with swimming eyes on the dear forms and faces of those nearer and dearer than any thing in life. these trials of my old age will shorten this weary life but I hope they mmay be sanctified to me, and wean me from this wilderness of care and sorrow, and prepare me for a happy home eternal and unchanging. How is my dear Sammy. I am glad he has spint so much of the summer with you. I know he is happier	there than he	would be here	although his
cousins would have	made his home	cheerful, and	his presence	would
have been a great comfort to me. still I do not think he should come down now.	he would be running a	risk of	his own health,	and
I do not wish him to do so. also, perhaps it	is better for him
