When I begin to write this about Ann, I tried to get her to talk about herself and her life but then I realized this is her story, these people were and still are her life.
She didn?t say anything about any of them growing up and leaving, she didn?t say any thing about the boys going off to war, and I didn?t ask because I knew this made her sad, and I had already cried enough for the day, at times hearing the sadness in her voice. She didn?t talk about her leaving to go to work at the Curet?s. What I wrote is all she talked about it is in no order what so ever. As she talked I tried to keep up with her, but I?m sure I left something?s out. She never said one negative thing about anyone.
I didn?t have to ask many questions she just talked, when she would become sad she would change the subject.
I know most of us here today to celebrate with her has a little Ann in us. But I also know each of us can learn a lesson from her if we open our mine to it. Lets all be proud of who we are and what our family before 1 iad to go through for us to be here today
Thanks
Mary Montgomery
