Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. i Augustine?s Seminary in Bay St. Louis.
( ?WAVELAND ? Margaret ?Mickey? Beyer Bums, 66, of Waveland, died Saturday, January 20, 2001, at the M.D. Anderson
her craft for the past 21 years while living in Bay Si Louis, Mississippi.
She began her study of art in her native state of California. In the 1960s she studied with Barclay Sheaks of Warwick, Virginia, and later with John Chase of New Orleans.
Mrs. Warner traveled widely and lived for many years in Spain and Turkey. Her impressionist painting style was strongly influenced by these experiences.
In the 1970s Mrs. Warner was Associate Director and then Director of the Gamer Secretarial School in New Orleans. She and her husband Herbert D. Warner closed the 1 school in 1979 and moved to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Mrs. Warner received a diploma from Post College in San Francisco.
Among survivors are her sons, Ray Warner of Oceanside, California (currently residing in Beaumont, Texas), and Mike Warner of St Louis, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Ruth Clair Warner Post of Metairie, Louisiana; three granddaughters, Laura Scoggin of DeSoto, Missouri, Debora Lynne Hibbs of Metairie, Louisiana, and Patricia Eileen Smith of Covington; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Ian, and Quentin Scoggin of DeSoto, Missouri.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 11 am. at St Rose de Lima Church at 301 S. Necaise Ave., Bay St Louis, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the George E. Ohr Museum, 136 George E. Ohr Street Biloxi, MS 39531.

Mickey grew up in Bay St Louis, graduated from St Joseph?s Academy and attended Pearl River Junior College and Southeastern University in Hammond, LA. Upon marriage to Neal Bums in 1958, she relocated to Texas and Oklahoma where she dedicated her time to her husband, children, church and community work with the Meals on Wheels program. After retirement she and Neal moved back to .. Waveland to be closer to her, i mother, the late May Beyer, and her" family. She attended St Augustine?s Seminary Chapel in Bay St Louis. -- ?

? ST. LOUIS, Mo. ? Jeanne K. Warner, artist and secretarial school director, died Wednesday, January 17, 2001, of a bile duct malignancy at Barnes Extended Care in St Louis, MO. She was 81.
Mrs. Warner began working as an artist in- the 1930s while studying with Chiura Obata, the venerable landscape painter. She continued
