Whavers is being commended for her work as legal administration director for Pro-Line Corporation in Dallas, Texas.
She has worked for Pro-Line for the past seven years managing its consumer relations department along with special projects for the president and executive vice-president.

Whavers is listed among the Outstanding Young Women of America and is active in the community through her involvement with the NAACP and the Urban League. As a concerned parent, she is a dedicated member of the parent-teacher organization.
According to Whavers, her success in her professional life is due to the support of her husband and the inspiration she received from her parents and early childhood training at St. Rose de Lima School.
