ANGELIQUE FASIAR (FAYARD) GRANT - CONFIRMATION OF AND SURVEY OF THE GRANT #144, CONFIRMED APRIL 25, 1812, RE-CONFIRMED MARCH 3, 1819.
Continuing with the family of Jean and Francoise, there is found Pierre, who married Suzanne Carco, widow of Damian Cony (MB 1, p. 92, MOB): Felicite, who married Baptiste Fabre and seemed to make their home first in New Orleans, thenin the Bay St. Louis area;
Marie Louise, who seems to have first married Francois Carco (their daughter Francoise is listed as their legitimate daughter on her marriage record to Jean Baptiste Ladner (MB 2, p. 136 Act 54, SLC) and a second time married to Jean Baptiste Baudrau (MB 2, p. 134 SLC); Andre (BB III as listed above), who is not heard of after his recorded baptism; Pierre I, the first Pierre listed, who must have died for his parents to name another son by the same name; Marieanne, who married Francois Bourgeois and settled in the Bay St. Louis area. On his death she married Etienne Peroge (Perrache), MB 1, p. 113, SLC; Francois, but it is not known for sure fhat he was the son of Jean and Francoise; Louis, who married Martha Gargaret; and Jean, who married Angelique Ladner.
On June 1, 1781, after presenting themselves to the judge vicar of the providence of New Orleans and pastor of the parish of St. Louis, Luis Fayard and Martha Gargare by matrimonial contract and the publication of the three banns on the appointed days, according to the prescriptions of the Council of Trent and with no canonical impediments, give each other by mutual consent; that is, Luis Fayard, native of Deer Island, legitimate son of Pedro Fayard and Francisca Broussea (Fisseau), his parents, and Martha Gargare, legitimate daughter of Miguel Gargare and Martha Ocqui, her parents, give their mutual consent in spoken words to this true and legitimate marriage, in presence of the witnesses, Carlos Ladnier, Daniel Santo, Santiago Dupre, Juan Bautista Olivier, on the 15th day of the same month and year above sign their signatures.

Louis FAYARD and his wife Martha had six children: Pierre, also known as Louis in the records, (BB 1, p. 291, SLC), Judith (BB 1, p. 352, SLC), Jacques (BB 2, p. 86, SLC), Alexis (BB 2, p. 406, SLC), Ursin (BB 2, p. 86, SLC) and Jean Baptiste (BB 2, p. 173, SLC). Pierre married Louise Necaise (BB 1, p. 352, SLC) and lived in the Bay St. Louis area;
Judith married the widower, Andres Durocher of New Orleans (MB 1, p. 91, MOB) and they lived in New Orleans. Judith died there. Jacques married Cecilia FAYARD, his first cousin (fathers are brothers) (BB 7, p. 100b, Act 568, SLC), then he married Gertrude Ryan, his first cousin (mothers are sisters); Alexis married Martha Ryan, his first cousin (mothers are sisters); Ursin married Genevieve Ryan, his first cousin (mothers are sisters); and Jean Baptiste, nothing more than his birth is known of him.
