Although the ownership and management of the Grand Hotel has changed frequently since 1847, throughout its history it has maintained the same fine reputation for its food and its gracious resort living. Without loss of charm or beauty of the grounds, a new 50-room Bay House was added in 1967 and golf club, tennis, swimming and other recreational facilities have been added and improved all along.
The Grand Hotel has been owned and operated by the Marriott Corporation since 1981. The Resort now features 310 deluxe guest rooms and over 12,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. The 27 holes of championship golf are ranked with the finest in the world.
