Annunciation Parish, covering an area of approximately 400 square miles, has been serving Caiholics of Hancock County in Southern Mississippi since 1869. Since its foundation, many priests and Religious have worked among the people of this large area. Annunciation School began in 1963 and has a present enrollment of 188 students with a faculty of four Religious Sisters and four lay teachers. During 1974 the parish was staffed by three priests (Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity) and six sisters (Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity and Religious of Jesus and Mary). Mass is celebrated for over 500 families at four locations: Fenton, Kiln, White Cypress and Diamondhead.
