ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE ERECTION OF ANY STRUCTURE ON THE BEACH FRONT IN THE CITY OF BAY ST. LOUIS BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bay Sl Louis: SECTION 1: The erection of any structure on the beach front Sc<-ca/[) in the City of Bay Sl Louis from the South line of Water Lot 175, Ward, South to the corporate limits and North from the North line of Water F>i?s T Lot 437, -Second Ward, North to the corporate limits, is hereby declared to be a- nuisance and is hereby declared to be unlawfuL t ?. SECTION 2: The term ??structure" shall be anything constructed or erected, the use of which requires more or less permanent location on the ground or which is attached to something having more or less permanent A ' location on uie ground, and shall include any building, cabana, outbuilding, shed, or construction of any kind other than a wharf or pier, which does ^not interfere with the free ebb and flow of the tide. ; . . SECTION 3: The term "beach front" as used herein shall FCXV1 mean that portion of the land between the, l the outermost limits of the paved portion of Beach Boulevard and the water?s edge. SECTION 4: Violation of the provisions of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor. Any person who violates this section shall upon conviction hereof, be fined not more than one hundred dollars (S100. 00) or imprisonment for not more than thirty (30) days, or both. Each day ?uch violation continues shall be considered separate offense.
