Ladies:
Where as "your thing" is "Area Beautification", "our thing" is "Area Promotion".
We brought your Arbor Day project for tree planting before the Board of Directors on Tuesday, February 25th as requested in your letter (copy attached). While we feel we have no suitable place to plant trees at the Chamber of Commerce office, your project is in line with our theme of Area Promotion, so we want to take an active part in the program.
Enclosed is our check in the amount of $50.00 for the purchase of trees to be placed at your discretion under the Arbor Day Program.
It may interest you to know that the Chamber of Commerce also has a project of Highway Beautification on Highway 607 beginning at the location of the new Hospitality Station on Interstate 10 and ending at Highway 90. We are only waiting on the master plan being worked up for us by the State Highway Department.
We are depending on the expertise gained by your organization in your project to assist us when we get underway.
