\ Sheet 8 - -11- Conveyance. Dated July 28, 1885. Consideration: Compromise and Settlement. This is a very lengthy document, being a notorial act passed before J.D. Taylor, a Notary.Public of Orleans Parish, Louisiana. It sets out at great length the agreement entered into by and between the heirs at law of John Nicholas Gerarfly, deceased, regarding the estae of said decedent which consisted of a considerable amount of property in the City of New Orleans, La., and an undivided one-half interest in two tracts of land in Bay St.Louis, Mississippi, described in the deed abstracted at Iten No. 10 of this abstract. The said compromise agreement was effected at a family meeting and conformed to an order or decree of the Civil District Court of Orleans Parish, Louisiana. In said settlement Mary Elizabeth Girardy was given the one-half interest of said John Nicholas Girardy, deed., in and to the two tracts of land at Bay St.Louis, Hancock County, Mississippi, which are fully described in this instrument. Said Ernest Munchow, as Guardian aforesaid, and Mrs. Amelia Xoenig, Joined by her husband, Jacob Koenig, convey unto the said Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Kuntz, widtow of John Nicholas Gerardy, deceased, all their rights, titles and interests in the said undivided onc--half interest in said two tracts of land.
