An entourage headed by Lt. Gov. Carroll Gartin and other Mississippi officials paraded through streets of this old Gulf coast town to cheers and waving of local citizens.
Joining in the parade were several ' Louisiana' officials including. Mayor deLesseps Morrison and city commissioner Victor H. Schiro of New Orleans, La.
Gartin, who participated in a premiere performance of a pageant called “Bay St. Louis iStory," Monday night, was on hand to represent Gov. J. P. Coleman, who was out of the state Monday.

The pageant will be presented nightly in the St. Stanislaus stadium and will be concluded ’each night with, a fireworks display. An added feature is a rodeo to be presented Saturday ) and Sunday nights at the Lazy | Ranch.
